Winter Construction
Parkdale International Art Fair 2008
Winter Construction was my lament on the long Ontario winters. Wishing that the beautiful winter scenes around me in mid February were merely a construction – like a set – that could be taken down at any moment. If you look carefully behind the scene you will see small construction tools. I was invited to be in The Parkdale International Art Fair, which was a response to the Large International Art Fair held in Toronto. It was a tongue in cheek show featuring 12 artists from the Parkdale neighbourhood. Each artist was given a “booth” in the form of a square in the window.
