Chandelier

The Three Sisters chandelier was commissioned by the LGA Architectural Partners Firm for the Interior Design Show 2006. It was created for the Masco Corporation boot. Masco provides plumbing supplies and products, this inspired me to actually use plumbing parts to create the chandelier. While the base is steel the decorative parts are made from new and vintage plumbing parts. There are three “flowers” that are balanced like a giant mobile and responds to the air flow in the space as it slowly turns. The materials I used were hundreds of feet of shower hose, 1000 feet of ball chain, toilet handls, faucet handle, chandelier crystals and of course lights, it is 16 feet in diameter.
Originally made as a one off, it is now available for purchase and would be perfect in a large foyer in a condo or large home or ???
